Kim is back with another soft furnishing class, this time teaching how to make curtains.
The class will be held in the Horsehair & Hessian workshop nr Bury St Edmunds

The class will be limited to 5 people to ensure everyone gets lots of personal tuition.
You will learn how to…
Making small sample lined curtain, approx 50 x 80cm, with pencil heading tape or cottage heading
Discuss fabrics, linings and poles and which heading tape to use
How to measure and calculate fabric quantities using pattern repeat.
Pattern match seams
How to mitre the corners, put weights in, create hems and how to attach heading tape with a cord tidy
Learn how to hang and professionally dress your finished curtain
